Hello, I must be going…
To borrow a line from Groucho (and David Hudson more recently) I am temporarily abandoning my blog. My site shall remain up and running as usual but as for this particular blog, I really have nothing to say here that I cannot say over at The Cinematheque. So it goes. Perhaps I will be back someday. AS for now, keep reading me over at my site.

Philadelphia & 3 Movies to go…
Off to Philadelphia this week-end. I plan on seeing three films. First off is Moon. I am guessing Solaris-light. Next up is Coppola’s Tetro - the maestro’s first viably-reviewed film in decades. I am both giddy and apprehensive. Third comes (500) Days of Summer. It’s being called the When Harry Met Sally of Gen Y. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing. I love both actors (Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Zooey Deschanel) but the potential saccharine level scares me a bit. Just to watch Zooey and those gorgeous manga eyes of hers may be worth it.
Anyway, off the Philly I go…
